CHILDREN'S MINISTRY ASSISTANT
The essential role of the NorthHaven Children Ministry Assistant will be to provide leadership and support of NorthHaven’s Children Ministry program, specifically with the individuals below sixth grade.
Duties include:
1. Participate in teaching or assisting in the Sunday School class for students in infancy through fifth grade.
2. Assist in the "Extended Session" time with children ages from infant to 5 years old during the Sunday services.
4. Arrive at church on Sunday and Wednesdays 15 minutes before the programs are scheduled to begin to prepare the spaces with supplies, as needed.
5. Communicate with the Family Ministers about absences so a substitute can be coordinated.
6. Complete the Child Protection Policy training and remain current in continuing education for the CPP as communicated by the Family Ministers.
Pay: $13.00 / hour; This is an hourly position of approximately 5 hours / week.
YOUTH MINISTRY ASSISTANT
The essential role of the NorthHaven Student Ministry Assistant will be to provide leadership and support of NorthHaven’s Student Ministry program, specifically with the individuals between sixth and twelfth grade.
Duties include:
- Participate in teaching or assisting in the Sunday School class for students in sixth grade through twelfth grade.
- Assist in the "Extended Session" time with children ages from infant to 5 years old during the Sunday services ember when needed. When not in "Extended Session," sitting with youth during worship service.
- Arrive at church on Sunday and Wednesdays 15 minutes before the programs are scheduled to begin to prepare the spaces with supplies, as needed.
- Communicate with the Family Ministers about absences so a substitute can be coordinated.
- Complete the Child Protection Policy training and remain current in continuing education for the CPP as communicated by the Family Ministers.
